Foundation in Science at University Technology of Sarawak (UTS) is a one-year, full-time, English-medium pathway that builds mathematics, physics, chemistry, laboratory practice, and academic English for undergraduate study in science, engineering, computing, and health-related fields.
Students take mathematics, physics and chemistry across three semesters, with laboratory work, computing, and electives such as biology, statistics, and dynamics. The programme is designed to support progression into a UTS bachelor’s degree after Foundation.
