Foundation in Arts at University Technology of Sarawak (UTS) is a one-year, full-time, English-medium pathway that builds academic English, business fundamentals, quantitative skills, and critical thinking for undergraduate study in arts, business, communication, and related fields.
Students study accounting, economics, marketing, finance, statistics, and professional communication, then choose electives such as construction, property development, multimedia, business law, and applied mathematics. The programme is designed to support progression into a UTS bachelor’s degree after Foundation.
