Eligibility

1. The scheme is open to new Non-Bumiputera students who are enrolled and registered as Year 1, Semester 1 undergraduate students at UTS.
2. The eligible undergraduate programmes are:
   • i) Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons)
   • ii) Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Marketing
3. The scheme covers up to 80% of the tuition fees for the duration of the student’s study, subject to the terms and conditions of the scheme.
4. The student’s parental household income must fall within the B40 or M40 income categories.
5. Applicants must have obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or equivalent in STPM, Foundation, Matriculation, or other recognised pre-university qualifications. In addition, applicants must obtain a credit in Bahasa Melayu at SPM level, or an equivalent qualification in UEC or O-Level.
6. Upon approval of the application, students are required to sign the bursary agreement before receiving the bursary.
7. Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.00 in every semester to retain the bursary scheme.
8. Students must not be receiving any other scholarship during the period of the bursary scheme.
9. A maximum of 100 places are allocated for Non-Bumiputera students.
10. Students may apply for a Yayasan Sarawak loan or PTPTN loan to cover the remaining tuition fees not covered by the UTS Bursary Scheme BP40, subject to the respective eligibility requirements.
