Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) at University Technology of Sarawak (UTS) is a four-year, full-time and part-time, English-medium degree that develops competence in construction, building measurement, building economics, professional practice, and contract administration.
Students progress from construction, CAD, structures and the built environment to building measurement, land surveying, civil engineering construction and measurement, construction estimating, M&E measurement, law of contract, BIM software application, and professional practice, including practical training and a dissertation. Year 4 electives include international construction, financial management, urban land development, and site planning. Graduates are prepared for professional and consultant quantity surveyor, contract administrator, cost engineer, university research, and arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator roles.
