Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) at University Technology of Sarawak (UTS) is a three-year, full-time, English-medium degree that develops competence in financial accounting, management accounting, taxation, auditing, and accounting information systems.
Students progress from introductory financial accounting, economics and business law to intermediate and advanced financial reporting, management accounting and control, taxation, auditing and assurance, public sector accounting, green accounting, and integrated case studies, followed by industrial training. Electives include Islamic accounting, forensic accounting, internal auditing, international business, e-commerce, and financial markets. Graduates are prepared for accountant, auditor, tax consultant, company secretary, and financial controller roles.
