Bachelor of Geography | UM-SATU (University Malaya) is a 3.5-year, full-time, on-campus bachelor's programme delivered in English at Universiti Malaya, Kuala Lumpur — designed to develop geography graduates with strong foundations in physical geography, human geography, economic geography, GIS, remote sensing and spatial analysis.
The curriculum spans physical and human geography, economic geography, climatology, analysis techniques, geographic information systems, population geography, remote sensing, geographical statistical methods, urban dynamics, research projects, specialisation electives and industrial training.
Graduates are equipped for careers as GIS Specialist, Urban Planner, Environmental Consultant, Remote Sensing Analyst, Spatial Analyst, Climatologist, Demographer, Sustainability Consultant, Policy Advisor and Research Analyst — or to pursue postgraduate study at University Malaya.
