Diploma in Creative Audio is a 2-year diploma programme offered by Multimedia University (MMU). The programme covers audio fundamentals, signal flow and studio equipment, introduction to digital audio, digital audio workstation, recording techniques, studio acoustics, music copyright law and protection, creative audio design, music fundamentals and appreciation, digital imaging technology, web development, digital photography; and creative audio design 2, MIDI theory and audio synthesis, audio signal processing, creative audio project, mixing and mastering, live sound production, entrepreneurship, video production workflow, digital storyboarding, industrial training and elective subjects.

Graduates may pursue careers as foley recording engineer or mixer, boom operator, dialogue editor, game audio designer, film location sound specialist, music editor, music director, production mixer, sound effects editor, sound designer, or progress to MMU degree programmes.
