Foundation in Creative Multimedia is a 1-year foundation programme offered by Multimedia University (MMU) at Cyberjaya. It builds analogue skills in sketching, drawing and painting, together with digital computer graphics and media production technique. Design theories and critical thinking run through Design, Drawing, Photography, Computer Graphics, Humanities and English, with Elements and Principles of Design applied in 2D, 3D and 4D projects.
The curriculum covers visual research and communication, life drawing, photography, computer graphics, sound design, popular culture, storytelling and mythology, figure drawing, digital imaging, design and art appreciation, and critical thinking. Graduates may progress to MMU degree programmes in creative multimedia and related fields.
