Applicants for master's and doctoral programs are recommended to give priority to applying for our Chinese Government Scholarship - High-level Graduate Program (which will also provide them with the opportunity to be reviewed for the Dingxin Scholarship).

Scholarship Details

Full scholarship: tuition, on-campus accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance.
Partial scholarship: one or more of these

Eligibility

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health;
2. Educational background and age requirements for applicants:
1) Applicants pursuing a bachelor's degree must have a high school diploma and be under 30 years old;
2) Applicants pursuing a master's degree must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 40 years old;
3) Applicants pursuing a doctoral degree must hold a master's degree and be under 45 years old;

2. Applicants for undergraduate programs (taught in Chinese) are required to take an entrance exam (time to be announced);
Note: The application fee is non-refundable regardless of admission.

Registration Deadline

Registration Materials

1. Log in to the registration system, fill in your information, and pay the registration fee; ( Contact E-Square to obtain the website  )
2. Certificate (high school, undergraduate, master's degree), must be a notarized original in Chinese or English;
Note: Fresh graduates are required to provide proof of pre-graduation or proof of enrollment when applying. After being admitted, they must submit their degree certificate to obtain admission qualification.
3. Transcripts (undergraduate and master's degrees), including all courses, GPA or average score, and grade standards, must be notarized originals in Chinese or English;
4. Personal statement (including research plan), at least 1,000 words for master's degree candidates and at least 1,500 words for doctoral candidates, written in Chinese or English;
5. Two letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors, at least one of whom is familiar with your current major;
6. Copy of language test transcript:
a) Study in Chinese, and must have reached HSK Level 4 (undergraduate) or Level 5 (master's and doctoral degrees);
b) Studied in English and achieved an IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL 70 (undergraduate), an IELTS 6 or TOEFL 80 (master's or doctoral), or submitted other official proof of English proficiency;
7. Copy of passport. The passport must be a valid ordinary passport (valid until after September 2025);
8. Physical examination results (valid for 6 months);
9. Certificate of no criminal record (valid for less than 3 months).
10. Acceptance letter from supervisor (optional; doctoral applicants are advised to contact their supervisor in advance);
11. Catalog and abstracts of published academic articles, and other original work (if any).
 

Admission results

The International Student Center will announce the admission list in June 2025 and send admission letters and other materials in early July. Please carefully confirm your email and contact information when filling out the application form.
