Courses (overview)

• The International Economics and Trade (2+2) (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years, 2+2 pathway: two years at Jilin University and two years at a partner institution) is delivered in Chinese and covers microeconomics, macroeconomics, international economics, international trade practice, international finance, econometrics, statistics, principles of management, marketing, international commercial law, and cross-border e-commerce, building foundations in economics and international trade fundamentals, international market analysis practice, and cross-border trade operations applications through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in foreign trade enterprises, cross-border e-commerce platforms, international business departments of financial institutions, and government commerce and customs authorities, including international trade operations support, market development support, documentation and compliance support, and general affairs support, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in international trade, world economy, applied economics, finance, and related interdisciplinary MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
