I. Eligibility Criteria:
1.
Non -Chinese nationals; 
2.  Friendly to China, with no criminal record, and abiding by Chinese government laws, regulations, and school rules and regulations;
3.  Physically and mentally healthy, with excellent academic performance;
4.  Aspiring to pursue Chinese language education, teaching, and related work;
5.  Aged 16-35 (as of September 1, 2025). The age limit is extended to 45for currently employed Chinese language teachers , and undergraduate scholarship applicants are generally under 25years old . II. Scholarship Categories and Application Requirements: 1. Master 's degree in International Chinese Education , admission inSeptember 2025, for a two-year grant. Must possess a bachelor's degree and a Chinese proficiency test score of 210 on the HSK(Level5)or 60 on theHSKK( Intermediate) . Applicants who provide a work agreement or other relevant documentation from the institution they intend to teach at after graduation will be given priority. 2. Undergraduate degree in International Chinese Education , admission inSeptember 2025, for a maximumgrantoffour years . Applicants must have a high school diploma and a Chinese proficiency test score of 2.10ontheHSK (Level 4) or 6.0on the HSKK( Intermediate) . III. Scholarship Funding and Standards 1. The scholarship covers tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and comprehensive medical insurance.2.  Our university provides free dormitory accommodation, typically double rooms, to undergraduate students majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Master's students majoring in International Chinese Education, based on the actual funding period . Scholarship recipients who choose to live off-campus will receive a monthly accommodation subsidy of RMB 700 upon application and approval by our university. Students may choose to live on or off-campus. Due to limited on-campus dormitories, the university operates on a first-come, first-served basis . Students will pay the accommodation fee according to the room type. 3. Living expenses will be paid monthly by our university : RMB 2,500 per month for undergraduate students majoring in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and RMB 3,000 per month for Master's students majoring in International Chinese Education . Scholarship recipients must enroll on time as specified in their admission letter; otherwise, their scholarship will be revoked. Those who register on campus before the 15th of the month (inclusive) will receive a full monthly living allowance . Those who register afterthe 15th will receive half a month's living allowance . Scholarship students who leave China for more than 15 days for personal reasons during their studies (excluding regular holidays) will have their living allowance suspended. Those who take a leave of absence, withdraw from studies for personal reasons, or receive disciplinary action from the university will have their living allowance suspended from the date of their leave of absence, withdrawal, or receipt of the disciplinary notice. Graduates will receive their living allowance until half a month after the graduation date determined by the university. 4. Comprehensive medical insurance premiums are regulated by the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education of China regarding studying in China and are purchased by the university. For programs exceeding one academic year, the standard is RMB 800 per student per year.5.  Academic students must participate in an annual review. For details, please refer to the "International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Annual Review Measures." Those who fail the review will have their scholarship suspended or revoked . Scholarship eligibility will be revoked if students fail to register on time, fail the entrance physical examination, withdraw mid-study, or take a leave of absence. IV. Application Process 1.  From February20,2025, to May 15 ,2025, applicants can visit the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website ( contact E-Square to get the website address ) and search for recommended institutionsand our school in the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship section. They can submit their application materials online and follow the application process, review opinions, and scholarship review results. Scholarship recipients must confirm with our school the procedures for studying in China and register for admission according to the time specified in our admission notice. (Note:After submitting their application on the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website, applicants must visit our school's international student registration website and contact E-Square to obtain the website address.)
 

Apply online and upload the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Application Form as proof of application fee payment . 2. In-service Chinese teachers
applying for various scholarships may provide proof of employment and letters of recommendation from their current employers. Priority will be given to applicants under the same conditions.
3. Applicants who have received the "International Chinese Teacher Scholarship Certificate" from various Chinese Bridge competitions should visit the International Chinese Teacher Scholarship website and submit their application materials to our school with the scholarship certificate. For any questions, please contact E-Square . V. Application Materials: 1. Scanned copy of passport photo page. 2. Scanned copies of HSK and HSKK score reports (valid for two years) .  3. Letter of recommendation signed by the head of the recommending institution. 4.  For degree program applicants, highest academic certificate (proof of expected graduation ) and academic transcripts . 5.  Applicants for the Master of Arts in International Chinese Education must submit letters of recommendation from two advisors holding the rank of Associate Professor or above . Applicants who provide employment agreements with their intended post-graduation institutions will receive priority funding . 6. In-service Chinese teachers must provide proof of employment and letters of recommendation from their current employers . 7. Applicants under the age of 18 must submit a notarized copy of their guardian's letter of authorization. 8. Other supporting documents required by our school If the above supporting documents are not in Chinese or English, they must be notarized.
