Founded in 1946, Jilin University is a national key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education. It is one of the first universities selected for the " 985 Project" and "211 Project." In 2017, Jilin University was selected as one of the first Class A universities to be designated as a " Double First - Class" university. 1. Funding Categories : This program supports undergraduates, master's students, doctoral students , general scholars, and senior scholars. Please contact the student dispatching authority in your country for specific funding details .
2. Language of Instruction : The language of instruction for undergraduates is Chinese; for postgraduates and continuing education students, the language of instruction is generally Chinese. Some majors may also be taught in English.

III . Application Method and Time
Applicants should submit their applications to the sending authorities (usually the Education and Culture Department of a Chinese embassy or consulate ) within the specified timeframe (generally from early January to April each year) . IV. Application Eligibility
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good physical and mental health ;
2. Applicants must meet the following requirements in terms of education and age
: Applicants for undergraduate studies must have a high school diploma with excellent academic performance and be under 25 years old ;
Coming to China To pursue a master's degree, applicants must hold a bachelor's degree with excellent academic performance and be under 35 years old ;
Coming to China Applicants for doctoral studies must hold a master's degree with excellent academic performance and be under 40 years old ;

● Senior scholars studying in China must hold a master's degree or a professional title of associate professor or above and be under 50 years old .

V. Application Process

2. Applicants must log in to the China Scholarship Council OnlineApplication System( Contact E-Square to get website ), click on the "Scholarship Application". " Please select Jilin University as your first choice, and its" Receiving Institution Number " should be " 10183. "
3. Applicant Application materials should be submitted to the sending department of the country where you are studying within the specified time .
VI . Admission and Notification
1. The China Scholarship Council will review applicants to determine if they meet the application requirements .
The university will not accept applications from applicants or applications that do not meet the requirements .
2. Approved applications will be forwarded to the relevant universities for admission .
The China Scholarship Council reserves the right to make appropriate adjustments to the applicant's chosen school, major, funding category, funding period, etc. based on the government scholarship funding conditions, the receiving institution's acceptance capacity, the required number of years of professional study, and the applicant's own conditions. , and the admission results will be determined by the school.
The university may recommend that applicants change their majors based on their application materials and other specific circumstances. The university will contact applicants via the email address they provided when applying. Please pay attention to email notifications from the university.
3. Scholarship recipients may study in China.
Applicants must be confirmed admitted by the receiving university and approved by the China Scholarship Council. Upon arrival at the university, applicants must undergo an interview and pass a physical examination to qualify for the Chinese Government Scholarship.
Each scholarship recipient can only receive funding from one Chinese Government Scholarship program.
4. Admission documents will be sent to the student.
The China Scholarship Council will send the "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China " (JW201) to the Chinese embassy (consulate-general) in the applicant's country of residence , who will then forward them to the Chinese student dispatching department or the student himself /herself .
5. Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change their study information.
Scholarship recipients are not allowed to change the university, major, or study period confirmed in the admission letter after arriving in China.
6. Applicants must study in China within the specified timeframe.
Scholarship recipients who fail to arrive in China on time, except for circumstances beyond their control, will be disqualified from receiving the scholarship.
VII. Application Period:
Undergraduate and graduate students will begin their studies in September 2024, while general and advanced graduate students will begin their studies in March or September 2024.
