Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens, in good health, and have excellent academic performance.Educational requirements
Applicants who come to China to study undergraduate preparatory programs must have a degree equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma and be under 23 years old.Applicants who come to China to study undergraduate programs must have a degree equivalent to a Chinese high school diploma and be under 25 years old.
Language requirements
Chinese proficiency must meet the admission requirements of each major.Note: Undergraduate applicants whose Chinese proficiency reaches HSK Level 3 but does not meet the admission requirements for their major can study Chinese in a preparatory course for one year. During this period, they will receive a full scholarship. If they still do not meet the admission requirements after completing the preparatory course, they will be considered as Chinese language students.
1. Tuition fee exemption.
2. Free dormitory: Double economy room (public bathroom). Scholarship students who choose to live off-campus upon application and approval by the host institution will receive a monthly accommodation fee of RMB 700 per person.
3. Provide living expenses in China: RMB 2,500/month.
4. Provide comprehensive medical insurance. The school will purchase this insurance in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education of China regarding studying in China, with a standard of RMB 800 per person per year.
Category B Scholarship (Partial Scholarship)
Tuition is waived.
Comprehensive medical insurance is provided. The school purchases this insurance in accordance with the relevant regulations of the Chinese Ministry of Education regarding studying in China, with a standard of RMB 800 per person per year.

Special Notes
- Faxed application materials will not be accepted.
- Applications with incomplete documents or unpaid application fees will not be accepted.
- The application fee is non-refundable regardless of whether the applicant is admitted or not.
- There is no need to mail paper application materials. Our university and departmental admissions departments reserve the right to request applicants to provide original paper copies of their application materials or certification documents from a designated certification agency for further verification.

Step 3: Admission and Enrollment
Admission results can be checked on the East China Normal University International Student Online Application System. Admitted students must register at the university strictly according to the time specified in the admission notice. Original graduation certificates and degree certificates will be verified upon registration. Those who do not obtain the corresponding certificates will be disqualified from admission.
- If the application materials are false, the application will be disqualified once verified.
- If a scholarship recipient cannot register on time for any reason, they must inform the university in writing and state the reason 15 days before the registration date. Scholarship eligibility will be revoked if the recipient fails to register without a valid reason.
- Students who fail the entrance physical examination, drop out or take a leave of absence will be disqualified from the scholarship.
