Application Materials or Conditions
- Highest education certificate
- Official transcript issued by the graduating school
- Non-Chinese ethnic students or students who did not complete basic education in China must provide HSK Level 2 certificate
- All materials must be in Chinese or English. Materials in other languages must be accompanied by notarized Chinese or English translations
Remarks
- Foreign nationality, good health; excellent character and academic performance
- Those who have already received Chinese Government Scholarship (excluding "Excellent International Student" Scholarship) or Shanghai Municipal Government Foreign Student Scholarship are not eligible to apply
- If other types of university-level international student scholarships are received, the highest amount will be applied, and they cannot be received concurrently
- Current students must participate in annual review. Category A recipients must rank in the top 20% of their grade in academic performance for the previous academic year
