1. Application Methods and Application Deadline:
Applicants should log in to the Tianjin University International Student Management System (Direct Contact E-Square Counselor), register, fill in the application information, and upload the required application materials (see the list of materials below).

III. Applicant Qualifications
1. Non-Chinese citizens, in good health
2. Educational background and age requirements for applicants:
Applicants who come to China to pursue a bachelor's degree must have a high school diploma and be under 25 years old ;
Applicants who come to China to pursue a master's degree must have a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old;
3. Language skills:
① Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must have a Chinese proficiency score of 180 or above on the HSK Level 5. Applicants whose native language is Chinese or whose previous teaching period was in Chinese may be exempted from submitting an HSK score upon approval by our school.
② For applicants of English-taught programs, English proficiency must be IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 or higher (*English-taught MBA program requirement: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 85). Applicants whose native English is recognized by our school may apply for exemption from providing relevant English scores. Applicants whose previous courses were taught entirely in English may provide a "Certificate of English as an Undergraduate Course" issued by the school in lieu of IELTS and TOEFL scores.
4. Applicants should be of good character, physically and mentally healthy, and willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of Tianjin University.

V. Application Materials
Applicants must submit the following application materials truthfully:
1. Original or notarized scanned copy of your highest academic certificate (Fresh graduates should have a pre-graduation certificate issued by their current school. Upon admission, they must submit an original or notarized scanned copy of their highest academic certificate).
2. Original or notarized scanned copies of transcripts for all courses taken during the highest academic level (fresh graduates may provide existing transcripts and submit all transcripts after being admitted);
3. Scanned copy of the first page of your passport (valid ordinary passport);
4. Application Form for Tianjin Municipal Government Scholarship in the Fall of 2020 ;
5. Proof of Chinese or English proficiency;
6. A resume of your continuous learning experience since high school;
7. Study and research plan in China ( undergraduate: at least 600 words ; master's: at least 800 words ), written in Chinese or English;
8. Two letters of recommendation from professional faculty with the title of associate professor or above, written in Chinese or English ( for master's degree applicants ) ;
9. Tianjin University Professor's Intent to Accept International Students Form. If you have obtained this form, please upload it to the system ( Master's degree applicants ) .
10. "Foreigner Physical Examination Record"; this form must be completed in Chinese or English and must strictly follow the items listed in the form. Physical examination results issued after October 2024 are considered valid ;
11. Applicants already in China must submit the visa page of their passport and a transfer consent certificate issued by their current school;
12. No criminal record (fresh graduates may submit proof of good academic performance);
13. Bank deposit certificate or employment income certificate of the financial guarantor;
14. Other materials (Applicants for the School of Architecture must submit an electronic portfolio and video introduction, etc. ).

Application Instructions:
1. All certificates and documents uploaded must be original or notarized documents in Chinese or English. If the documents are in other languages, both the original and the notarized English or Chinese translation must be uploaded.
2. Please scan the relevant documents in color with a scanner before uploading. Documents taken with mobile phones or cameras will not be accepted, and photocopies will not be accepted.
3. During the review of uploaded application materials, Tianjin University may require some applicants to provide original/notarized copies of their application materials or certification documents issued by a designated certification agency for further verification. Applicants must ensure that the information and application materials they provide are true and accurate; otherwise, their admission will be revoked.

1. Scholarship Application Stage:

2. Tianjin University document review and Tianjin Municipal Government evaluation phase: June 1-30, 2025 ;
3. Tianjin University announces admission results and sends the Admission Notice and Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China (JW202) to admitted applicants : July 1st to August 31st.
4. Admission registration time: end of August or early September .
