Details

Bilateral Programs offer full or partial scholarships based on educational cooperation and exchange agreements or consensus reached between China and relevant governments, institutions, universities, and international organizations. Bilateral Programs support undergraduate, master's, doctoral, general, and advanced scholars. For specific information, including application deadlines, please contact the sending institution in your country.

1. Application Methods
By applying for a pre-admission letter from Tianjin University, applicants can increase their chances of winning a national program scholarship. To apply for a pre-admission letter:
Please log in to the Tianjin University International Student Management System ( Direct Contact E-Square Counselor) before February 1 , register, fill in your application information, and upload the required application materials. Qualified applicants will receive a pre-admission letter from Tianjin University within 10 working days.

II. Country Project Application Guide
1. Submit an application to the dispatching authority of your home country (usually the Chinese Embassy or Consulate General in the host country) and inquire about the relevant application qualifications to confirm your eligibility.
2. After submitting your application to your home country's sending department and receiving a recommendation, apply for a pre-admission letter from Tianjin University. This letter will ensure that you will be assigned to Tianjin University rather than another institution.
3. Please submit your application materials to your country's dispatching department within the specified timeframe. Please visit the following website for detailed information on application materials:
https://www.campuschina.org/content/details3_74776.html
4. CSC or Tianjin University do not accept individual applications for the Country Program directly. Please do not send your application materials to CSC or Tianjin University. Only applicants recommended by their home country's sending authority will be considered for the Country Program Scholarship.

3. Follow up on the admission process
CSC will send the "Admission List", "Admission Notice" and "Visa Application Form for Foreign Students Studying in China" (JW201) to the Chinese Embassy (or Consulate General) in the country of residence before July 31, and the Consulate will forward it to the sending department of the country or the student himself.
