• The Traffic Engineering (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years) is delivered in Chinese and covers traffic engineering, road survey and design, traffic planning, traffic control and management, transportation systems engineering, intelligent transportation systems, traffic flow theory, urban rail transit, traffic safety engineering, road traffic facility design, traffic survey and data analysis, and graduation design, building foundations in traffic engineering, traffic planning and intelligent transportation, and traffic safety and facility design applications through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in traffic planning and design, intelligent transportation, traffic safety and facilities, and urban rail transit, including traffic engineering assistant, planning and design support, traffic data analysis support, and project coordination and technical support, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in traffic engineering, transportation engineering, urban planning, civil engineering, and related interdisciplinary MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
