Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• National or State-level athletes with minimum participation in Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA), or
• Candidates who have achieved victory in National or International sports competitions

• Scholarship recipients must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 (or equivalent) throughout their academic journey to retain their scholarship benefits.
• Students receiving scholarship value exceeding 30% of tuition fees are required to participate in a Student Ambassador program, dedicating 48 hours annually during their scholarship period. This includes collaborating with various UOW Malaysia departments for enhanced exposure, representing UOW Malaysia at diverse events, and participating in leadership development initiatives to maintain scholarship eligibility for subsequent semesters.
