Criteria

To be considered for this scholarship, applicants are required to meet the academic prerequisites from one of the following qualifications:

STPM/A-Levels

UEC

Foundation/Diploma

*Applicable only to applicants from other Malaysian educational institutions.

Highlight

The continuation of the scholarship for subsequent years is contingent upon the student's academic performance in relation to their peers within the same academic programme and intake cohort. The specific requirements are as follows:

• Scholarships covering over 80% of tuition: Must maintain a CGPA within the top 25% of their cohort.
• Scholarships covering over 50% of tuition: Must maintain a CGPA within the top 35% of their cohort.
• Scholarships covering over 25% of tuition: Must maintain a CGPA within the top 45% of their cohort.
• Scholarships covering 25% or less of tuition: Must maintain a CGPA within the top 70% of their cohort.

This merit-based scholarship is offered to new students enrolling in undergraduate degree programmes at Xiamen University Malaysia. It provides a substantial tuition fee waiver, with amounts determined by academic achievements in various pre-university qualifications, including STPM, A-Levels, UEC, and the IB Diploma. The scholarship is renewable annually, provided the recipient maintains a high academic standing relative to their peers in the same programme.
