Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have completed the Foundation in Biological and Biomedical Sciences at NUMed Malaysia with a perfect CGPA of 4.00.
• Candidates must possess an unconditional offer and be officially enrolled at NUMed Malaysia.
• To qualify, students must achieve at least 5As in SPM or equivalent, with required subjects including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Students who obtain 8As (including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics) in SPM or equivalent are eligible for a 100% tuition fee waiver for the first year.
• Students who obtain 5As (including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics) in SPM or equivalent are eligible for a 50% tuition fee waiver for the first year.

Highlights

• Students who are recipients of the Vice Chancellor's Merit Award are also eligible for this discount.
• Those benefiting from other loan schemes may still apply for this discount.
• However, students who are already receiving any other scholarships, bursaries, or discounts (including NUMed Alumni and Family Discount) are not eligible.

Details

This bursary is designed for students who have completed the Foundation programme at NUMed and are advancing to undergraduate studies at NUMed Malaysia. The award is applied as a deduction from the first-year tuition fee for the MBBS or Biomedical Sciences degree.
