Application Requirements

• Must be a high school graduate and in good health.

• Applicants under 18 years of age must obtain the university’s approval and provide notarized guardian documents and other related materials (please consult the Admissions and Program Development Office for details).

Required Application Materials

(Must be written in Chinese or English; submitted materials will not be returned regardless of admission outcome)

1. Online completed “University of International Business and Economics Application Form”

2. Copy of high school diploma and transcripts

3. Copy of guarantor’s ID or institution's certification

4. Copy of applicant’s passport or ID

5. Financial statement (if required, e.g., bank deposit certificate exceeding the tuition fee)

6. Non-criminal record certificate

7. Two recent passport-style photos (front-facing, white background, no hat)

8. HSK Level 4 or above certificate for Chinese proficiency

   • Exemption allowed if the applicant's previous degree was taught entirely in Chinese; a language certificate from the previous institution must be provided

9. Business English program applicants must provide proof of English proficiency:

   • IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL (iBT) 86 or other proof of English level

   • Personal statement in English

Entrance Examination

• Exam Period: May–June each year (exact dates will be announced by the university)

• Subjects:

  • Written Chinese proficiency test (including listening comprehension)

  • General written exam (including math and English)

  • Interview

Application Fee

• RMB 660 (Non-refundable)

Tuition Deposit

• RMB 4,000 (Non-refundable; payable upon confirmation of admission and counted toward total tuition after registration)
