Founded in 1946, Jilin University (JLU) was designated as a **National Key University** in 1960 and became one of China's first 22 institutions to establish a graduate school in 1984. It is a prestigious **"Double First-Class"** university under China's **"211 Project"** and **"985 Project"**.
