BAC Merit Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to support high-achieving students pursuing Foundation Programmes at IMU based on their SPM / IGCSE results.

Eligibility

• Open to students applying for Foundation Programmes at IMU.
• Applicant must meet the merit criteria based on SPM / IGCSE results as shown in the table above.
• Scholarship amount will be waived from the tuition fees based on the number of A grades achieved.

How to Apply

Interested applicants who fulfill the eligibility criteria can submit an application.

Applicants are required to submit the following supporting documents:

• SPM Certificate or IGCSE Certificate
• IMU Conditional Letter of Offer for Foundation Programme
• Completed scholarship application form

The scholarship amount will be automatically applied as a fee waiver based on your SPM / IGCSE results when you enroll in the Foundation Programme.

Scholarship Details

• The scholarship amount will be automatically waived from the tuition fees for the Foundation Programme.
• The fee waiver is a one-time benefit applied upon enrollment.
• The scholarship amount is based on the number of A+/A/A- grades achieved in SPM or IGCSE examinations.
• Students must provide original certificates for verification.
• IMU reserves the right to vary the scholarship terms and conditions as and when deemed necessary.

The BAC Merit Scholarship is designed to recognize and reward academic excellence in SPM and IGCSE examinations for students pursuing Foundation Programmes at the International Medical University (IMU). This merit-based scholarship provides financial support in the form of tuition fee waivers, making quality foundation education more accessible to high-achieving students. The scholarship structure is straightforward: the more A grades (A+, A, or A-) a student achieves in their SPM or IGCSE examinations, the higher the fee waiver amount they receive, ranging from RM 1,000 for 5 A grades to RM 10,000 for 10 A+ or A grades. This initiative encourages students to strive for academic excellence and provides tangible recognition for their achievements. By supporting students at the foundation level, the BAC Merit Scholarship helps pave the way for future success in their chosen fields of study at IMU.
