Project Introduction
The Chinese Government Scholarship (Bilateral Program) is a full or partial scholarship offered through a mutual agreement or educational exchange agreement between the Chinese government and another government, institution, university, or international organization. Applicants should apply to the sending agency or a Chinese embassy or consulate in their home country.
A Pre-Admission Letter (CSC—Type A) is only issued to applicants who apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship (Type A) through their home government, embassy, or other institution. Students who receive a Pre-Admission Letter can submit it along with other documents when applying.
Applicants who apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship - High Level Graduate Program or the Silk Road Program (CSC - Type B, applied directly to the university) do not need to apply for this pre-admission letter.
A pre-admission letter is not a final admission letter. It is only used to help you complete the scholarship application in your home country.
Application Period
Generally from November to March of the following year
How to apply
1. Send your application materials to Contact E-Square to get related information . Please indicate the subject line (e.g., "Pre-Admission (Type A) Application" + English Name). In the body of the email, please indicate the full name of your program (either Chinese or English).
2. We will prepare the pre-admission notice within 5 working days after receiving the materials and send it by email.
3. Please note that applicants who apply for our university's pre-admission letter must include our university as one of their choices when submitting their formal application for a Category A scholarship to the China Scholarship Council (CSC). Furthermore, we recommend that applicants list our university as their first choice to increase their chances of being accepted into our program.
Application Materials
1. Passport copy;
2. Bachelor's or Master's degree certificate; or official academic certificate from the university (for students currently studying but not yet graduated, please indicate the expected graduation date and submit it after receiving the degree certificate), original or notarized copy (in Chinese or English);
3. Transcripts (all courses, including course grades and grading standards), original or notarized (in Chinese or English);
4. Study plan, clearly stating the degree and major you want to study;
5.HSK certificate or English proficiency certificate (If you cannot provide this, please indicate this in the email).
