III. Application Requirements
1. Non-Chinese citizen, physically and mentally healthy, with no criminal record
2. Applicants for Master's programs must be under 35 years old;
Applicants for Doctoral programs must be under 40 years old
3. Language Requirements: Proof of English proficiency (IELTS 6.0 or above, TOEFL 70 or above, or other proof that English is the language of instruction)
4. Strong academic background, research capabilities, and innovative abilities
IV. Application Procedure
1. Documents:
a. Acceptance letter from potential advisor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
b. Scanned copy of passport (valid for at least 1 year)
c. Highest academic qualification (notarized photocopy in Chinese or English required). Applicants who are recent graduates may provide a certificate of expected graduation.
d. Transcript of highest degree (notarized copy in Chinese or English)
. e. Physical examination report for foreigners. This form is invalid if it lacks a photo, incomplete physical examination items, a stamp, or a signature from a doctor or hospital. This form must be completed in Chinese or English. The physical examination date must be after September 1, 2023. The original physical examination report must be presented at the time of enrollment.
f. Non-criminal letter
g. English proficiency certificate: IELTS score 6.0 or above, TOEFL score 70 or above; equivalent English proficiency certificate (certificate indicating English as the language of instruction)
h. Research plan (detailed description of previous research experience and research plan, no less than 3,000 words)
i. Letter of recommendation from a professor or associate professor
j. Publications, certificates, or other documents
k. Self-introduction video

V. Academic Review and Results Release:
Initial Document Review → Academic Evaluation/Interview → Comprehensive Assessment Meeting at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics → Final Review by the China Scholarship Council → Admission Result Notification
. *The purpose of the academic review/interview and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics' assessment is to comprehensively assess the applicant's academic background, language proficiency, research capabilities, and innovative potential.
*The university will determine a shortlist of candidates based on the academic review results and submit the nominations to the China Scholarship Council for approval. Final approval is subject to the China Scholarship Council (not all shortlisted students will be accepted). Upon approval, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics will notify the applicant of the final admission result and send an admission letter and JW201 form.

VI. Admission:
1. Admission letters and visa application forms will generally be mailed before July 31, 2023.
2. Registration Time: Early September. The specific time is subject to the Admission Letter. Students must register within the time specified in the Admission Letter. Failure to register by the specified time will automatically result in the cancellation of admission.
3. Scholarship recipients are not permitted to transfer, change their major, or change their study period after arriving in China.
4. Application materials and fees will not be refunded, regardless of whether or not you are admitted.
5. Please do not apply for multiple Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics scholarship programs simultaneously.
VII. Annual Review:
Scholarship recipients will undergo an annual review in May each year. Those who fail the review will be disqualified from receiving the scholarship for the following year.
