Eligibility:
This scholarship is open to the following international students: Undergraduate students: International students pursuing a bachelor's degree.
Application period
for undergraduates: November 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025. Basic
application
requirements: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health. Abide by Chinese laws and regulations and the school's rules and regulations. Applicants must have excellent academic performance and not be recipients of other Chinese government scholarships.
Educational and age requirements
: Undergraduate students must hold a degree equivalent to a Chinese senior high school graduate and be no older than 25 years old.
Language requirements
: Applicants for Chinese-taught science,
engineering, economics, and management majors must have an HSK score of 180 or above on the HSK Level 4. Applicants
for humanities, social sciences, and philosophy majors must have an HSK score of 180 or above on the HSK Level 5.
Applicants for English-taught programs must have
a TOEFL score of 80 or above, or an IELTS score of 5.5 or above.
Alternatively, applicants can provide proof of previous studies being conducted in English.
Applicants from countries where English is the official language are exempt from submitting proof of English language proficiency. If the above language scores are not available, the language proficiency of master's and doctoral applicants will be determined by their advisors and departments through interviews and written examinations.

Partial scholarships are provided. Tuition is waived; the remaining expenses are the applicant's responsibility.

Electronic Application Materials:
Applicants must simultaneously send their application materials to the official email Contact E-Square to get related information .
The email subject format should be: "DUT Application Number + Passport Last Name + Passport First Name" (e.g., "20241100001 + ABDUR + MUHAMMAD").
Note: If applying for multiple scholarships simultaneously, only one electronic application is required.
Application Materials
: Undergraduate Application Materials: Dalian University of Technology International Student Admission Application Form (completed online).
University Scholarship Application Form (Appendix 1).
High school diploma (notarized).
Transcripts of all high school courses (notarized).
Proof of language proficiency (HSK, TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).
Personal statement (no less than 600 words, Appendix 2).
Letter of recommendation (issued by a high school principal or teacher, Appendix 3).
Physical examination record for foreigners (valid for 6 months, Appendix 4).
Blood test report (HIV, VDRL, HbsAg, HCV testing).
Scanned copy of passport front page and blank visa page (passport must be valid no later than September 2025).
Criminal record certificate (valid for 6 months, or provide a "Letter of Commitment of No Criminal Record" in Appendix 5).
Other documents (if applicable): Passport visa page (for students studying in China).
One 3cm x 4cm photograph. Art majors must submit two works of art.
Applicants under 18 must provide proof of guardianship (Appendix 5).
