The Xi'an Belt and Road International Student Scholarship is established by the Xi'an Municipal Government. Xi'an Jiaotong University is the host institution and offers tuition discounts to scholarship students. This scholarship program aims to provide more outstanding students from Belt and Road countries with the opportunity to study in Xi'an.

Funding categories : undergraduates, postgraduates, doctoral students, one-year non-academic students

Funding content :
Undergraduates: 15,000 yuan/year
Master's degree: RMB 20,000 per year
Doctoral students: RMB 25,000 per year
Non-academic students who study for more than six months will receive RMB 1,000 per month.
Xi'an Jiaotong University waives tuition fees for master's and doctoral students and 100%, 50%, or 30% for undergraduate students.
All degree students are required to participate in annual review after admission.

Expiration date:
Undergraduate and non-degree programs – June 30th
Master's and Doctoral Degrees – April 15

Application requirements :
a. Hold nationality of a Belt and Road country
b. Education and age requirements

• Applicants for undergraduate studies must be high school graduates and under 25 years old;
• Applicants for a master's degree must hold a bachelor's degree and be under 35 years old;
• Applicants for doctoral studies must hold a master's degree and be under 40 years old;
• Applicants for one-year non-academic further studies must be under 45 years old.

c. Not receiving other scholarships
d. The language level meets the language requirements of the corresponding major
